Abstract

This paper investigates the role of Continuous Testing (CT) in DevOps pipelines, emphasizing its ability to accelerate software delivery while maintaining high quality. Through literature review and industry case studies, the research highlights how CT reduces risk, improves defect detection, and supports continuous improvement. Tools like Selenium, Jenkins, and Unit testing frameworks are discussed, along with performance metrics such as defect detection rate and deployment success.

Keywords

Continuous Testing, DevOps Pipelines, Software Quality Assurance, Automated Testing, Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD)

Conclusion

CT enhances DevOps by enabling early defect detection, faster recovery, and improved deployment frequency. AI-driven test prioritization and predictive analytics further optimize testing efficiency. Challenges like flaky tests and data privacy regulations are noted, with cultural alignment and smart automation identified as key success factors.
