Abstract

Cloud computing has **transformed digital storage and operations**, but it has also introduced **complex forensic challenges** in cybercrime investigations. This paper presents a **structured survey of widely used cloud forensic tools**, analyzing their effectiveness across **legal, technical, and organizational dimensions**. By identifying limitations such as **platform dependency and lack of standardization**, the study advocates for **cross-platform forensic solutions** to improve **real-time investigations**.

Keywords

Cloud Forensics, Digital Evidence, Forensics Tools, Cloud Security, Cybercrime Investigation, Legal Challenges, Digital Forensics.

Conclusion

The **survey on cloud forensic tools** highlights the **necessity for standardization, automation, and multi-platform compatibility**. Future research should prioritize **AI-driven forensic analysis, standardized log formats, and improved interoperability among forensic tools** to streamline **digital investigations in cloud environments**.
